Summer Day Camp 5
Summer Day Camp 5 runs each morning from 10am-4pm. Summer Day Camp 5 is for children aged between 7 and 16 years old. The camp is for children of all levels of tennis. So, if your child is a beginners or has some tennis experience, our camp is for you. The Aceplay tennis coaches and assistants are very experienced at working with children. So, to ensure your child will feel safe and attended we have a coach to child ratio of 12:1.
So you know, each day your child will learn new tennis techniques and stroke to help them understand and play tennis. The summer camp is structured to help your child’s learning through fun games, practise and activities. This structure allows your child and children to have fun, build confidence, make friends and be part of something special and memorable.
Furthermore, our coaches will teach your child and children the basics of tennis. Tennis techniques are important because they are the basics for tennis. On Summer day Camp 5 your child will learn the groundstrokes: the forehand and backhand. This also includes learning how to volley and how to serve. Your child will be taught the footwork needed for these techniques too. Also included in the lessons are basic tactic, for example hitting the ball crosscourt.
See here for the junior tennis membership at Ravens LTC. The membership will offer you discounts to all the coaching lessons and junior holiday camps.
